Informational Opportunity Hosted by DEMEC – Voltage Regulated Distribution Transformers
DEMEC was joined by representatives from Reinhausen who presented on their Voltage Regulating Distribution Transformer (VRDT) program, a pilot program designed to reduce lead time on new transformers and manage frustrating voltage fluctuations. Reinhausen’s agreement with its partners allows for a significant reduction in lead times for new transformers that utilities would otherwise wait over a year to receive.
