DEMEC Hosts 2023 Annual Dinner
DEMEC was excited to host our 
2023 Annual Dinner in September featuring keynote presentations on the needs and benefits of reliability from Asim Haque, SVP of State & Member Services at PJM Interconnection and Walter Haase, General Manager of the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority. Local, state, and federal attendees learned about what is needed to ensure a reliable energy transition
, as well as an update on the humanitarian mutual project Light Up Navajo, and how the work DEMEC and other utilities from around the country have brought power to families for the very first time in their history. At the end we celebrated our members’ national achievements 
through awards and recognition.
