Power Savers Alert!!

Due to low temperatures and increasing energy demand, we are asking municipal electric customers to VOLUNTARILY reduce electric use, Tuesday, January 20, 2026.  Power Savers Hours are from 6 a.m. – 9 a.m.

Customers can help by taking simple steps such as:

• Bundle up in a cozy sweater and dial your thermostat down 2-3 degrees.
• Delay using major appliances like the washer or dryer until later in the day. 

Customers are encouraged to lower their electric use during these hours to save money both now and later. Participation helps lower customers’ monthly electric costs and reduce utility energy costs over time. The more people that participate, the bigger the impact!
