Lineworkers Honored

Yesterday, Delaware Senate Concurrent Resolution 177 was passed by both the House and Senate, officially recognizing April 18th as “National Lineworker Appreciation Day”. We’d like to extend a special thanks to Senator Brian Pettyjohn for sponsoring this resolution recognizing the hardworking lineworkers in Delaware.

Lineworkers from the City of Seaford and City of Milford, who recently returned from Light Up Navajo, a “mutual aid without the storm” project organized by the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority in coordination with the American Public Power Association, were recognized for their outstanding work supporting the Navajo Nation. We’re grateful for their dedication and the essential role they play in keeping public power strong.
