DEMEC Staff Visits the City of Dover

November 4, 2026

DEMEC staff concluded our 2026 Member Visit Series in the City of Dover, gaining valuable insight into the history, industries, and electric customers that shape one of our largest member communities.

The day included an electric utility overview from Electric Director Paul Waddell, a visit to Legislative Hall, and a driving tour highlighting major manufacturers. At the Air Mobility Command Museum, the team explored historic aircraft and learned about the global mission of Dover Air Force Base, the City’s largest electric customer.

Thank you to the City of Dover for an informative visit that strengthened our team’s understanding of the community and customers we serve!
