DEMEC Members Recognized at the 2026 Annual Dinner

DEMEC’s Annual Dinner celebrates the people and communities that make public power shine. This year, several of our member electric utilities received national awards recognizing their commitment to safety, reliability, efficiency, and innovation.

We also recognized DEMEC crew members who volunteered their skills through the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority’s Light Up Navajo mutual aid initiative, along with staff who completed the three-year Certified Power Supervisor program. Their dedication to serving others and growing as leaders strengthens our public power community.

We were proud to honor two individuals for 10 years of service to DEMEC: Charles Anderson, Board Treasurer and Director representing Seaford, and Stephan Siok, Director of Beasley Plant Operations & Compliance.
