Heather Contant, DEMEC’s Director of Government & Community Relations, presented a refresher of DEMEC’s customer energy savings tool for members’ customer service and communications staff to optimize energy efficiency and cost savings for their electric customers.

- Heating and Cooling Calculator: Gives insight into how heating and cooling affects energy costs.
- Electric Vehicle Calculator: Calculates potential savings when switching to an electric vehicle based on your driving habits.
- Vampire Power Calculator: Shows exactly how much energy and money are being lost due to appliances that waste energy, even when not in use.
