DEMEC Holds a Harassment Prevention Training
DEMEC’s members have a wide variety of departments, extending beyond the electric department to include IT, finance, communications, customer service, and human resources to name a few. As Delaware’s Joint Action Agency, DEMEC provides shared services and aggregate savings for our member communities. One example being our diverse training program. Yesterday, DEMEC hosted a human resources training on workplace harassment prevention for DEMEC and member staff that identified various types of harassment, reviewed personal and supervisor responsibilities, and shared how to protect yourself and the organization through proper reporting and conduct.
