DEMEC Turns 40!
On this day 40 years ago, DEMEC was officially incorporated after the Delaware General Assembly voted to created a Joint Action Agency for Delaware’s municipal electric utilities to be able to reap the benefits of aggregating their resources together to meet the needs of their customers in the most economical way. We are proud of the work we’ve accomplished over the past four decades and look forward to all that we have planned for the future to bring even more benefit to our member communities and savings to their customers.
