DEMEC Member Visit – MSC of New Castle

This week, DEMEC held its final Member Visit of 2025 in the City of New Castle. Staff and representatives from the MSC of New Castle, started the day with a visit to Mayzon to tour the facility and follow the assembly of medicine cabinets, vanities, & more from start to finish. Next, they traveled to the City of New Castle Police Department where Scott Blomquist, General Manager of the MSC, provided a brief history & overview of New Castle, highlighting the unique needs that come with serving a historic city along the Delaware River. After a quick lunch at Nora Lee’s French Quarter Bistro, staff rounded out the day with a walking tour of the city.
