DEMEC Hosts Cost-of-Service Fundamentals
DEMEC staff and finance professionals from member communities attended a Cost-of-Service Fundamentals & Financial Planning Training, led by Dawn Lund, Vice President of Utility Financial Solutions, LLC. The session started with an overview of DEMEC’s newly adopted Member Health Assessment by CFO, Stephanie Dove, followed by Dawn providing valuable insights into cost structures and their influence on rates, financial planning, and key performance targets. She also offered guidance on determining accurate revenue requirements and identifying essential financial benchmarks to support long-term fiscal health.
