DEMEC is proud to announce that April 30, 2014 was proclaimed Delaware Municipal Electric Day by the Office of the Governor. DEMEC has efficiently, and reliably, supplied all of the electric power demand of 8 of it’s 9 public municipalities. In addition to DEMEC’s primary mission of supplying reliable public power to our members DEMEC also provides our members with legal and technical assistance with regional and national regulatory bodies, training programs, economic and customer development, capital financing, and energy efficiency programs.
