DEMEC Hosts 2019 Annual Legislative Luncheon

DEMEC hosted its second annual Legislative Luncheon on Thursday, June 6th at Legislative Hall to share more about DEMEC’s member communities, economic development efforts, renewable energy initiatives, energy efficiency programs, and cybersecurity measures with several legislators and their staff. One of the many benefits of joint action is local, state, and federal representation for member communities to advocate on their behalf during regulatory and policy changes. DEMEC is proud to have represented Delaware’s nine community-owned public power communities for 40 years!
